Different Cannabinoids, Different Formulas

CBD may be the best-known cannabinoid, but it's only one of many naturally occurring compounds found in cannabis.

  • CBG: One of our most popular cannabinoids for daytime use and is commonly found in formulas intended for focus, gut support, and everyday physical discomfort.
  • CBN: A more relaxing cannabinoid most commonly found in evening and nighttime formulas due to its reputation as "the sleep cannabinoid."
  • CBC: This much less known cannabinoid has become one of our favorites for uplifting daytime formulas, particularly when paired with CBG.

Many products contain more than one cannabinoid, so you don't necessarily have to choose just one. Different ratios allow manufacturers to build formulas around different preferences and times of day.

Quick Answers

Which cannabinoid should I start with?

CBD is the most established and widely available place to start, but the right choice depends on what you're looking for. CBG and CBC are especially popular in our daytime formulas, while CBN is most commonly found in products intended for evening and nighttime use.

You can also start with our Shop by Function page if you would rather choose based on your goal.

Can I take more than one cannabinoid together?

Yes. Many cannabinoid products intentionally combine CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, and other cannabinoids in a single formula.

Rather than treating each cannabinoid as a completely separate product, look at the complete cannabinoid profile and the ratios used in the formula.

Are CBD, CBG, CBN, and CBC intoxicating?

CBD, CBG, CBC, and CBN are not generally considered intoxicating in the way THC is and do not produce the characteristic high associated with THC.

Individual experiences can vary depending on the cannabinoid profile, serving size, and other ingredients in a product but we do not carry any products that would be considered intoxicating at Herbal Edge.
