About Herbal Edge - Independent by Nature

Herbal Edge is a Boise-based CBD wellness company built around a simple idea: wellness should be accessible before healthcare becomes necessary.

Food, housing, and healthcare are becoming increasingly unaffordable for ordinary people. My goal with Herbal Edge is to help address part of that problem by filling in where modern healthcare often falls short: practical wellness education. In the information era, people have access to more health information than ever before, but real-world experience and practical guidance are increasingly difficult to find — even within the wellness industry itself.

I come from a fitness background as both an athlete and a strength & conditioning coach, specializing in helping people over 40 stay strong, active, and independent. CBD has been part of my own wellness routine for years, and over time I’ve helped hundreds of people in real life build sustainable routines focused on sleep, recovery, stress management, and long-term health habits.

I have personally dealt with injuries and chronic illness, but because I prioritize recovery, movement, stress management, and daily health habits, I rarely need formal medical care and my healthcare costs stay relatively low. Herbal Edge was built around helping more people take a proactive approach to their own health through practical wellness routines and trustworthy THC-free CBD products.

We are research-based and experience-led.

Modern evidence-based medicine is built on three pillars: scientific research, clinical experience, and patient values. We believe wellness should work the same way. Laboratory research matters. Real-world outcomes matter. Individual values matter.

That’s why Herbal Edge focuses on practical CBD education instead of hype, intoxicants, loopholes, or miracle-cure marketing. Our goal is to help people who are curious about CBD make informed wellness decisions grounded in both research and real-world experience.

Advocacy

Herbal Edge supports everyone's right to access safe, transparent THC-free wellness products without unnecessary confusion, stigma, or regulatory ambiguity. We are committed to protecting that right even for people who have no interest in CBD today.

Over the years, we have watched many CBD skeptics become supporters when faced with serious illness, chronic health challenges, or the needs of a loved one. Not everyone will choose to use CBD, and not everyone should, but we believe everyone deserves the freedom to make that decision for themselves. 

Preserving access today helps ensure that option remains available tomorrow for anyone who may one day need it.

Access

Much of the CBD industry is split between two extremes: overpriced products built around luxury branding, or cheap unverified products with little accountability. In many cases, products are underdosed, poorly tested, or sold by retailers who know very little about what they carry.

We’re trying to change that. Rather than relying entirely on government regulations to set the standard, we created out own. We work directly with independent makers, verify manufacturer claims with our own lab testing, and aggressively evaluate product quality, formulation, and pricing.

Herbal Edge is based in Boise, Idaho — one of the strictest states in the country for hemp product legality. While many companies avoid Idaho entirely or plead ignorance after flaunting the laws, we saw Idaho’s higher standards as an opportunity to raise the bar for the CBD industry as a whole.

Because Idaho’s regulatory landscape requires a higher level of diligence, we built our independent verification process to go beyond a single manufacturer lab report. We assess THC-free compliance, labeling accuracy, formulation integrity, and manufacturing consistency before products reach our catalog. 

We believe CBD products should be accurately labeled, consistently manufactured, and formulated with real-world usefulness in mind — not marketing trends or luxury branding. That means studying formulations independently, comparing products across the market, and building relationships with makers who can consistently meet higher standards over time.

We also believe wellness products should remain affordable enough to become part of a long-term wellness routine rather than an occasional luxury purchase.
