Off-Label Media is an independent media group founded by Thomas and me as a platform for honest discussion, education, and advocacy in the world of plant-based medicine. Unlike the sales and marketing side of Herbal Edge, Off-Label Media is completely separate. It exists to protect the integrity of the message: to ensure that the truth about natural health and the policies that shape it are never filtered through a marketing department.

We believe deeply in plant-based remedies and in the the stories of people who rely on them. Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how effective these products can be, and we’ve also seen how confusing, misleading, and inconsistent the information around them has become. Unfortunately, sharing that knowledge openly through traditional business channels isn’t simple. Sometimes its not even allowed.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have strict rules about how companies that sell hemp or botanical products can communicate. We’re not allowed to describe our own experiences with these products, or share what customers tell us about how they’ve helped them. Even a positive customer review that mentions a health benefit, something as simple as “this helped with my anxiety”, can trigger regulatory scrutiny or penalties. 

Hemp is Legal. Talking About It Isn't. 

That’s a problem, because honest stories are how people learn what works. And without open conversation, progress stalls.

Off-Label Media exists to break through that wall: not to sell, but to speak freely. Here, we can talk about what’s really happening in the hemp and supplement industries: the science, the policy debates, the loopholes, and the power structures that shape public access to plant-based wellness. We can examine why the current system favors synthetic pharmaceuticals over natural compounds, why misinformation persists, and how consumers can protect themselves in a marketplace where “natural” doesn’t always mean safe or effective.

Our mission goes beyond simply providing good products or credible information. It’s about advocacy: pushing for smarter regulation, honest labeling, and public awareness that puts health back in the hands of individuals. We aim to challenge narratives, expose hypocrisy, and defend the right to choose nature-based alternatives without fear, stigma, or censorship.

Off-Label Media will feature investigative articles, interviews, and opinion pieces covering everything from emerging research and agricultural policy to ethical manufacturing and consumer protection. It’s a home for uncomfortable truths and necessary conversations, a platform for those who believe that transparency and integrity matter more than hype.
