Product Audits
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) represents one batch of one product, tested on one day. On its own, it can confirm that a specific sample passed... but it can’t show whether a brand consistently formulates, manufactures, and tests to the same standard over time. Posting a single, hand-selected COA is easy. It’s also easy to misinterpret.
We maintain folders containing multiple test results across batches and dates, rather than presenting one document as proof of consistency. This library of independently hosted records grows over time, creating a complete and verifiable history of each vendor’s consistency, not a curated selection of their best-looking results.
This is what we mean when we say we show our work. Taken together, these records reveal real patterns: consistency in potency, formulation stability, and whether testing is routine or merely occasional. Real transparency means providing the full body of evidence, not a snapshot chosen to look good.

A Note On Test Histories:
If you only see one test for a given product, it means we’ve only purchased and independently verified a single batch from that vendor so far. Additional results are added as more batches are evaluated.

Questions About Testing and Audits?
FAQ
Why don’t you just post one COA per product?
A single Certificate of Analysis only reflects one batch tested on one day. While it can confirm that a specific sample passed, it doesn’t show whether a brand produces consistent results over time. We publish full testing histories so you can evaluate patterns of quality, not isolated outcomes.
Why do you link to folders instead of individual test documents?
Folders allow us to present multiple test results across batches and dates in one place. This makes it possible to assess over time in potency, formulation stability, and testing frequency. It’s a more accurate way to evaluate long-term quality.
It also allows you to view test results without having to download files.
Why do some products only show one test result?
Because we only publish results from batches we’ve personally purchased and independently verified. If a product currently shows a single test, it means only one batch has been evaluated so far. Additional results are added as more batches are reviewed.
Where do these test results come from?
The folders may include third-party test results provided by the manufacturer, along with independent testing we commission through our own lab. When we bring on a new product, we verify it independently. After that, we perform additional testing periodically to confirm that vendor-provided results remain consistent over time.
If independent results align with the manufacturer’s testing and the vendor’s own records show consistent behavior, it’s not necessary to retest every batch. The goal is verification and pattern confirmation - not redundant testing for its own sake.
