About the Author

I came to plant-based wellness the hard way. After years in the fitness industry, I was in the best shape of my life - then my health collapsed. When I hit a dead end in conventional care, I did something people are quietly told not to do: citizen science. I did my own research.

I didn’t find a miracle cure. I found tools that helped, and a more troubling truth. The U.S. supplements industry offers almost no meaningful consumer protection. There are no shortcuts to lasting health, no bargain pills that undo years of aging. Transparency is optional in this industry. Marketing claims are fantastical.

Before founding Herbal Edge, I spent years as a regional CBD wholesaler, evaluating thousands of products from hundreds of brands. That experience taught me how to interpret lab data, pressure-test marketing claims, and spot weak formulations. It also taught me something uncomfortable: wellness was often an afterthought for many “wellness” brands.

Herbal Edge was founded to confront that reality. We teach people how lab testing actually works, what lab reports can and can’t tell you, and how to evaluate products the way industry insiders do… because we are insiders.

We also connect people who care about wellness with makers who stand behind their work. We don’t promise miracles. We promise to show our work, so you can make an informed decision.
